Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Driftn ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Driftn is an infrastructure observability platform for developers. It connects to third-party platforms you authorise (Vercel, Supabase, AWS, and others) using read-only credentials you provide, and surfaces security findings, cost analysis, uptime monitoring, and related infrastructure insights.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• Authentication is passwordless (magic link) — you're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.
• You're responsible for all activity that occurs through your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use Driftn.

4. Your platform credentials

When you connect Vercel, Supabase, AWS, or other platforms, you provide API keys or tokens. By doing so:

• You confirm you have the right to share these credentials with a third-party tool.
• We strongly recommend using read-only / least-privilege credentials wherever your provider supports it.
• You can revoke access at any time by deleting the credential from your Driftn account, or by revoking the key directly with the provider.
• Driftn does not write to, modify, or delete resources in your connected platforms unless you explicitly trigger an action (e.g. a one-click fix) that says so.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Driftn's security scanner against domains or infrastructure you don't own or have explicit permission to test.
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or other security controls of the Service.
• Use the Service to build a competing product by scraping or reverse-engineering it.
• Upload malicious code, attempt injection attacks, or otherwise abuse the platform's infrastructure.
• Resell or redistribute Driftn's output (scan reports, scores) as your own product without attribution, except under the Agency plan where white-labelling is explicitly permitted.

6. Payments — Lifetime Deal & subscriptions

• The Lifetime Deal is a one-time payment that grants ongoing access to Driftn's current and future features for as long as the Service operates, subject to these Terms.
• Subscription plans (when active) are billed monthly in advance and can be cancelled at any time; you retain access until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the Lifetime Deal. Contact hello@driftn.io to request one — no questions asked within that window.
• Prices may change for new customers; existing Lifetime Deal holders keep their original terms.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Driftn depends on third-party infrastructure (Railway, Supabase, Vercel, Stripe) and on the platforms you connect (Vercel, AWS, etc.) — outages on their end can affect Driftn's functionality. We're not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Driftn is provided "as is." Security scans, cost estimates, and monitoring data are informational aids, not guarantees. A clean security scan does not mean your infrastructure is free of vulnerabilities — use Driftn as one signal among others, not as your sole security or compliance measure. We don't warrant that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that findings will be 100% accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Driftn and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or infrastructure costs incurred based on Driftn's recommendations. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

10. Data and privacy

How we collect, use, and protect your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Termination

You can stop using Driftn and delete your account at any time by emailing hello@driftn.io. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union, without regard to conflict of law principles.
